We’re huge fans of and are stoked to now carry Autrement Rouge at both locations!

Inspired by Savoie reds, Autrement is a blend of Gamay, Mondeuse, and Pinot Noir. Gamay & Pinot Noir were destemed into open top wooden cask and Mondeuse was destemed into open top stainless steel ferment. Aged in neutral oak barrels and then blended. BANGER.

Aromas of apple, banana, and sweet potato coalesce with vanilla, peanut, and walnut flavours. Pleasant and gentle with rich umami, perfect with autumn dishes. Limited quantities available at both locations!

Loaded with Motueka & Idaho 7 hops, Walking On The Moon is overflowing with lemon meringue, pulp, and papaya sorbet notes. Plus it was made by THE BEST ALBERTA BREWERY IN THE WORLD (as per the Alberta Beer Awards).

Roland Velich, the passionate winemaker behind the Moric brand, is has a goal of proving the Austrian Blaufränkisch grape variety can join the ranks of the world’s great red wines. Indeed, he believes that Burgenland has the same excellent conditions for producing great red wine as Burgandy or the northern Rhône Valley.

The experts seem to agree as the Blaufränkisch Reserve is getting some rave reviews. You know who else loves it? We do!!

That’s why we’re so stoked to have Misun from visit our Original Location from 1-4pm TODAY (Friday October 11th) to bust open this $60 bottle for an in-store complimentary tasting (fancy name for “floor pour”). Straight from Copenhagen, Insight Cellars are known for their oak-aged, spontaneously fermented wild ales and mixed fermentations saisons, crafted from a house yeast culture that has been collected, isolated and refined over time from wild strains native to Refshaleøen harbour. So yeah, they’re awesome.

We’re very lucky to have received a unique lineup of 750mls including ales aged in sherry, Barbados Rum, Moscatel, and very old Oloroso barrels and/or blended with German Riesling & Pinot Noir grapes, Belgian Lambic, fresh White Saturn peaches, and more! (We also scored a couple little cans of their super hoppy Danish ales if you need a break from the funk).

Joe will lead us through top-notch examples of the most esoteric styles, varieties, and regions we can get our hands on. It’s gonna be a blast!

Vol. 1 is East of the Iron Curtain and is happening THIS Thursday from 6:30pm-8:30pm. We’ll be tasting wines from Japan, Hungary, Bulgaria, Lebanon, and Syria. There’s not many tickets left, so you better get into it!
