SARA, FAMILY FLY TO GERMANY AS INTENSIFIES

Vice President Sara Duterte reportedly flew to Germany with her family and mother early on Wednesday, July 24.

According to a Manila Bulletin report, Duterte was seen at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 with her husband, their children, and her mother, Elizabeth Zimmerman.

The plane departed at 1:50 AM and is expected to land in Dubai for a connecting flight to Munich, Germany.

Meanwhile, areas in Luzon are currently experiencing heavy flooding as Typhoon Carina continues to intensify while heading towards Taiwan.

HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF
Kinasuhan ng plunder ni former senator Sonny Trillanes sa Department of Justice ngayong Biyernes, Hulyo 5, sina dating pangulong Rodrigo Duterte at Senator B**g Go, iginiit na ang dalawa “facilitated corrupt practices specifically the awarding of more than a hundred government contracts to companies owned by B**g Go's father and brother worth at least P6.6 billion.”

Si Duterte ang ikatlong dating pangulo ng bansa na kinasuhan ng plunder, kasunod nina Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo at Joseph Estrada.

Taong 2001 nang kasuhan si Estrada ng plunder, binubuo ng apat na bilang ng corruption na kinasasangkutan ng pag-divert sa pondo na may kabuuang halaga na P4 bilyon. Oktubre 25, 2007, pinagkalooban si Estrada ng executive clemency ng humalili sa kanya na si Arroyo.

Taong 2012 nang kasuhan din ng pandarambong si Arroyo dahil sa umano’y ilegal na paggamit ng P366 milyon mula sa Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO). Hulyo 19, 2016, ilang linggo pa lang presidente si Duterte, ibinasura ng Korte Suprema ang kasong plunder laban kay Arroyo dahil sa “insufficient evidence.”

Sa kanyang pahayag noon sa media, nagpaabot ng pasasalamat si Arroyo sa Korte Suprema “for finally stopping the persecution I had unjustly gone through the last five years” at kay Duterte “for allowing due process to take its course.”

OPEN LETTER PARA HAN MGA NAPAKA-MAISUG TIKANG HIN USA NGA TACLOBANON

Mas Maisug Kami!

We respect PRRD as we would any other former President. But today we take exception to the Duterte camp’s attempt to flatter themselves that Taclobanons have been in any way been inconvenienced by reason of their attempt to stage an anti-Romualdez/anti-Marcos rally in Tacloban - the home base and baluarte of the Romualdezes.

First, the reason the flights have been fully booked is that the Tacloban airport is undergoing shortened operating hours due to necessary runway repairs. It is only operating between 6am to 6pm daily. Even before, flights to and from Tacloban have been in demand given that it is the regional and economic hub. The situation has only been exacerbated by the recent bad weather - and the state of our air travel has NOTHING to do with your failed rally.

Second, why would we support any attempt to insult and humiliate the present administration in our own backyard? The Romualdezes and Marcoses have always had the Taclobanons’ back. While the Dutertes have been an ally to Taclobanons, they should not expect Taclobanons to simply abandon the Romualdezes for them.

Third, we will NOT support any attempt to destabilize the adminstration. Your “napaka kuntalos maisug nga rally” will not gain any decent following from us because the present administration has been nothing but generous. They have given Tacloban, the entire region, and Waraynons hope that some day, we will be free from poverty and have lasting peace.

Finally, diri kami masugot nga susugaron an amon mga ginbutusan nga mga minhigugma nga mga opisyal ha mismo amon baluarte. Bisan siguro mga Davaoeño diri masugot sugaron namon it mga Duterte dida mismo ha Davao City.

Bahala kamo mag rally hit iyo kunuhay kamaisug ha iba na lugar pero ayaw la didi ha amon ha Tacloban — kay kun maisug hira, mas maisug kami!

Amon ini ciudad, amon ini Tacloban. Ayaw kamo pag buot kun ano it amon gusto. Ayaw dad-a it iyo binuwa ngan samok didi ha amon.

Kun maisug kamo, MAS MAISUG KAMI!!!
