On 7–8 February, the beautiful town of 📍 Tábor transforms into the epicenter of natural wine, hosting 140+ winemakers from across Europe. Among them the whole Czech and Slovak natural wine community, including of course amazing winemakers we’re proud to work with, so we can't miss that and neither should you!

As the year comes to an end, I’d like to reflect on it and thank you all for your support!

This year has been - without any filters - a wild ride for Vinofactum. Full of challenges but also meaningful moments and lessons learned that reminded us why we do what we do. We had to part ways with some team members but also many new wonderful people came into our lives this year, united by the shared vision.

It hasn’t always been easy, but every purchase, every kind word, and every bit of support you’ve shown along the way has meant the world to me.

At Vinofactum, we are deeply committed to connecting you with authentic, low-intervention wines from Central and Eastern Europe, made by the hands of small, family-run winemakers who care as much for their land as they do for their craft. Your love for these wines – and your trust in us – continues to inspire and drive me forward.

This year was also about catching a new wind in the sails. The recent rebrand reflects the course for an exciting future while staying true to the values we hold dear. In 2025, we’ll be thrilled to:

“I let my wife choose between my two big passions, back in the day: wine or music? She said wine, but now she sometimes jokes that the band might have been a better option since we only played on weekends, while wine takes up all my free time,” laughs Zdeněk Vykoukal as we pace through his tiny, happy-looking vineyard near Austerlitz, Moravia.

Train dispatcher by day, proud cocker-breeder on weekend shows and occasional heavy-metal guitarist and winemaker every free moment in between, Zdeněk does things his own way.

His wines are our go-to when we want to treat ourselves, indulge in a bit of wine meditation, or find a nuanced wine for pairings.

The vineyards are steep and densely planted, so most of the work is done by hand, no tractors, by Zdeněk, his wife and their two sons. The whole production is fully organic-certified, so you can be sure to be drinking only the purest essence of the unique limestone, fossil-rich terroir of Austerlitz, translated into a textural and distinctly mineral Chardonnay, Grüner Veltliner or Neuburger.
