The end result is a beer reminiscent of citrus juice with extra pulp, thus the name Juicy Bits.

Citrus, Mango and Pineapple aromas abound.
But make no mistake, there is no fruit here; just a serious dry-hop regimen of Citra and Amarillo hops. We put in the perfect amount of malt backing to balance out the flavors. Citra Double IPA is as close as it gets to chewing on a hop vine. Enjoy this one fresh (at least while you can get your hands on it)!

The name “Merry Taj IPA” pays homage to the holiday celebrations going on from sea to sea, encapsulating the hope of a new year as we inch closer and closer to 2014. It’s also a play on a term from the wine world, Meritage, which loosely translated means: A damn fine blend (of hops in this case).Though Belgian-inspired beers dominate The Lost Abbey portfolio, it’s not the only focus of the brand. The brewing team at The Lost Abbey are certified Hop-Heads at heart and being able to imagine and craft an IPA for the brand was a vision that seemed just out of reach…until now.

Named after the hill you have to slog back up from El Porto.. since it is precisely what you’ll be looking for after a day in the surf and sun, and a 1/4 mile climb straight back up to town! Nothing but base malt, Big Bitterness, 7.2% ABV, and a heavy dose of Amarillo and Centenniel hops make this India Pale Ale a nod to what has made the California IPA what it is today. Bright presence of lemon zest in the aroma leads well into a base of pine and citrus in the palette.
