I’ve been thinking a lot lately about who am I creating content for

Is it for you, or is it for myself?

I’d be lying if I said I’m not heavily influenced by views, likes, comments- things outside my control

This desire for external gratification, to fit in is honestly making fall out of love with creating

VIRAL SOUNDS, 4:5 RATIOS, FAST SUBTITLES, HOOKS

To what extent am I willing to compromise my art, my stories for a chance to win the vitality lottery ticket?

Is this what I’m in it for? To win the lottery?

Or is creating art, sharing stories and guiding people actually what I care about?

I’ll lyk when I have the answer.

One of the coolest spaces I’ve been to in my travels was Tusheti, Georgia. ⁣
⁣
Tucked away in northeast Georgia, the only way to get to Tusheti is by navigating one of the most dangerous roads in all of Europe to finally arrive to this location. ⁣
⁣
I hope to someday return here and hike village to village learning about the unique culture while exploring the beautiful landscape of this hidden gem.⁣

After 6 months of consistent travel around the world I’ve finally returned back home to Canada 🇨🇦

I’m so excited to be back to spend quality time with my friends & family, edit & share some of my adventures and most importantly reflect on my experiences away from home.

This batch of travel has been truly transformative but it didn’t come without its hiccups. I hope to make sure I spend much-needed time working on myself before I hit the road once again.

⁣This is my most important photograph to date. ⁣
⁣
I was in Tripoli, Lebanon where I stumbled across an old man sitting on the stairs a few meters away from a Mosque. ⁣
⁣
Although he sat in the light, the shadow from his hat concealed his face.⁣
⁣
But it wasn’t difficult to tell that he was going through something.⁣
⁣
Even though I could sense his sorrow from a distance it wasn’t until he reached his left hand to his face to wipe the tears from his eyes that I truly knew. ⁣
⁣
He sat at the edge of the light as if he was on the brink of sinking into the darkness of the shadow. ⁣
⁣
And beside him, there was this space.⁣
⁣
A space that felt like it used to belong to someone. ⁣
⁣
Someone he now longed for. ⁣
⁣
I will never know what he was going through, but there are days like today when I feel a bit of the pain that he was going through that day. ⁣
⁣
It seems like it never gets easier, but I can only hope that I can become stronger.

I sat under the shade of a tree, comforted by the soft grass.⁣

The scent of spring flowers filled the air alongside the sound of a flock of birds playing in the sky celebrating their freedom.⁣
⁣
In that instance, as I closed my eyes, the world, and my heart were completely at ease.⁣
⁣
For a moment, I didn’t feel alone, nor anxious, nor lost in my pursuits. ⁣
⁣
I felt wholeheartedly at ease.
