The Grenache grape variety is called the 'King' of grapes. It is the dominant grape in the southern Rhone valley thriving in hot dry vineyards. Deliciously round, fruity and heart-warming it is naturally high in alcohol making it not only excellent for reds but also rose wines.

Lockdown has given myself and Romain GOUVERNET, sommelier and founder of Provenceandwine, the time to work on a joint project that we have had in mind for a few years: www.bestrhonewines.com is a bespoke service platform for wines exclusively from the Rhone valley . Discover our wine shop, including organic wines, wine club, free monthly newsletter + pop up offers, Masterclasses in the UK and Provence, monthly sommeliers selection and much more via our website which went live last week. We are able to ship wines, rarely found outside France, worldwide.
