Whisky Lovers we have a little treat for you, Here is Bonnington single malt scotch whisky - Matured in Pedro Ximenez Sherry Casks, this limited release from Bonnington Distillery is rich, fruity and warming with a long finish.

Taste notes

Nose: Sweet sugar, pick and mix, fresh oak and green wood

Taste: Fresh, subtle red fruit, lightly dusted sugar on berries

Finish: Lots of wood and tannins, some salty notes

The Bonnington story began in 2017 on Graham Street in Leith, Edinburgh. Whilst building the foundations for the distillery, ruins of the old fortifications were discovered, providing the inspiration for our citadel icon.

One of the first single malt distilleries in Leith, Edinburgh for nearly 100 years, Bonnington Distillery was commissioned in December 2019 and began production in March 2020, with an estimated 2200 casks per year and a capacity of 1.1m LPA per year.

All of our water is sourced from an ancient aquifer, located 147m under the distillery.

The shape and style of our stills, bespoke squat-neck stills made from Speyside Copper Works in Keith, enables us to produce new make spirit that is more Highland in style than traditional Lowland. We also have access to both peated and unpeated malt, and have built up a wide variety of unique casks that will give us the opportunity to experiment with a range of innovative finishes for future releases.

Named after our beloved whisky measure. Two Drams Blended Scotch Whisky has light and fruity aroma, which gives way to a sweet creamy taste with hints of pear. An oaky, fruity finish lingers on the on the palate.
