Well isn’t this the sexiest bottle I’ve seen in a while! Not only a beautifully intricate & tactile bottle but the liquid is amazing too.

I was introduced to Single Malt by a very good friend, who knows a thing or two about whisky…this is an incredible distillery founded by a man driven by the passion to create whiskies steeped in tradition and that carry the soul of Belgium…what’s not to love.

This is the Identite, their flagship/entry Single Malt whisky, which is aged between 36 and 41 months, packed with pear and apple juiciness and a smoothness that belies its young age. A flagship whisky should introduce the distillery style and this really does make me excited to try the rest of the range.

This is delicious and we can’t wait to get it on the shelves

From the Peak District to the Far East! Happy World Gin Day from us all at Rebel Drinks in Bakewell. We have beautiful selection of London Dry gins from distilled in the heart of the Peak District using locally grown and foraged botanicals. Also with the success of our sake selection we have now branched out into Japanese gins with our first two from and . Whatever you’re drinking today, just make sure it’s beautiful!

I feel the need….the need for Mead! We’re stocked back up with the Mead District hopped Sparkling mead & Traditional still mead. As well, back by popular demand, we have Mead District London Dry Gin - this is a classic London Dry that has mead, raw honey, foraged chamomile and river mint from the Lathkill river in the botanical mix. This gin won silver medals at the prestigious CWSA and Spirit Selection awards.

Amazing new rose from one of our favourite natural wine producers! My first thought when I opened the bottle was one of ‘Giant Strawb’ sweets from my childhood but this is a super fresh and delicious rose with strawberry/cherry flavours and a wonderfully balanced structure.

This is the perfect BBQ wines as we head into the summer!

From Ukraine to the Peak District. We have many friends, customers and suppliers who have been caught up in this unnecessary war and so we have decided as a business to try and support smaller Ukrainian brands and companies. So many people locally (and around the world) have been raising funds and supporting charities which has been incredible to see and to be a part of.

Raising money now is incredibly important but it is also vital to continue this after the war and support businesses that benefit the whole community and business ecosystem in Ukraine to help them rebuild.

The first brand we have added to our selection is , an incredible Gold Medal winning vodka made from barley, wheat and rye. This gives the vodka a richer and more rounded flavour profile, crystal-clear clarity and an enviable velvety smoothness.

Back in time for Valentine’s Day - Apoteca Raspberry Gin - this beautiful gin has been aging on fresh raspberries for the past few months to get that depth of colour and flavour. We also have the minis and gift sets. We’re open from 10am to 4pm so feel free to pop down and sample some as well as see all our other goodies!

Showcasing some of our wonderfully special cask finishes. The guys at Bruichladdich call it A.C.E. - Additional Cask Enhancement…..and we think these three are pretty ace 😁 Tullibardine Murray 2005 Chateauneuf Du Pape finished in barrels from the owners vineyard in the Rhone valley, reposado aged for 7 months in Oloroso Sherry casks, and our very own Gold medal winning Apoteca Sherry Cask Gin aged for a further 12 months in an Oloroso Sherry barrel.

Well this is a nice treat....sampling some pre-Diageo Ron Zacapa 23 Anos (batch from around 2002). Utterly incredible! Almost a cognac like nose that makes way for dried fruit, liquorice, vanilla and molasses on the palate. Then there is coffee, marzipan, smoke and honey developing in the flavours. I love my job sometimes 😁

Morning views! Completely taken aback by how beautiful Albania is! Visited yesterday to hear about their very progressive programme for carbon sequestering and how they are working with the local farmers to move all the vineyards to a healthier organic ecosystem. Flori and his father were incredibly generous with their time and we got to try some wonderful Kallmet and Ceruja wines - two grapes I have never had before - which were delicious as was the food. This is turning out to be a very interesting discovery trip

Launching today and quite possibly my new favourite beer! Simple ingredients come together and make this super enjoyable dry hopped saison. Continental hops and a farmhouse yeast deliver a lovely light citrus fruit and spicy aroma which is well balanced with bready Pilsner malts. A bitterness and carbonation is swept away with a refreshing rice dryness. This one is a real cracker of a beer and won’t last long
