Guys the time has finally arrived for me to leave the shop.

My last day will be Wednesday 24th January and the new owners will be taking over on Thursday 25th.

The Post Office will close on Monday 22nd at 5.30 and re-open on Thursday 25th at 8.00 this is to complete the handover. There will be no scratchcard sales until Thursday morning.

The shop will close at 1.00 on Wednesday 24th for stocktake and handover and re-open on Thursday morning.

The butchers will be open as normal.

I've been here for almost 20 years and through ups and downs I've always been welcomed and made feel part of the community.

So a massive thank you to all my customers and friends I have made over the years .... thanks for your support and thanks for the laughs we have had.

Also a massive thank you to my lovely staff and Brian and his guys too .... I really will miss the craic.

I'd like to wish Joel and Sophie every success and hope you will make them feel a welcome as I was.
