This , we’re shining a spotlight on facilities that have identified local solutions for larger impact, understanding that our communities make us who we are.
 
Our ObregĂłn Brewery in Mexico collaborated with the Yaqui River Irrigation District (DRRY) to improve outdated infrastructure, increasing the security of crops.
 
Meanwhile, the brewery has introduced a new water recovery plant onsite that recovers, treats, and sends back for re-use 720 cubic meters of water per day, equivalent to about 480 standard-sized water bottles, as well as a reverse osmosis module that we expect to save approximately 5% of freshwater use. 
 
We will continue to promote water resiliency where we live and work, including investing in public infrastructure and watershed health for our collective benefit.

This , we’re shining a spotlight on facilities that are doing their part to help ensure the resiliency of water resources for future generations.
 
Our Selaks Winery in New Zealand works with local officials to manage the surface and groundwater quantity and quality in one of the nation’s fruit baskets. Through rigorous employee engagement with water conservation efforts, we are pleased to report that the winery now sits well below the regional average water-to-wine usage ratio during the production process.
 
Alongside expert partners, the winery has implemented precision viticulture to maximize quality while optimizing yield and saving water. This includes cutting edge neutron probe soil moisture sensor technology that has changed the way teams make the decision to irrigate, responding to the needs of the vine.
 
By collaborating with community leaders, we can drive greater innovation for continuous improvement.

Pata Airaudi, one of the brand’s owners and operators, continues to help pave new roads for women of color to improve representation and inclusivity across the industry. This passion for building community is also reflected through the Sapere Wine Club, which provides members wine, experiences and, most importantly, connections.

We are so very proud to have Sapere Wines as one of our Venture Partners. Through our Focus on Minority Founders program, we are committed to invest $100M in minority-founded businesses like Sapere Aude by 2031. Our Cheladas, made with authentic Mexican beer and vibrant fruit flavors & spices, continue to deliver on consumers’ desire for flavor variety. Our latest flavor launch, Sandía Picante, ranks as the No. 1 NEW single-serve item in channels.

We’ve expanded the Chelada platform by introducing new consumer-preferred, more sessionable 12oz. multipacks of Chelada Especial, Limón y Sal, and a Variety Pack featuring the delicious fruit flavors of Mango y Chile, Piña Picante, Limón y Sal, and Naranja Picosa.

Our teams around the world bring our ESG commitments to life every day to benefit the local communities where we live and work, while partnering with organizations that expand our impact.

This year’s winners of our Environmental Sustainability Awards have successfully reduced water usage and GHG emissions and improved operations to be more efficient with less waste.

Congratulations to the Nava Brewery for being honored with our Leadership Award for the second year in a row, and to both the Obregon Brewery and Selaks Winery and Hawkes Bay Vineyards who received our Stewardship Award.

We’ll be sharing more about these teams and their progress toward reducing water usage and GHG emissions, while improving operations to be more efficient with less waste, in the coming weeks.

Our AASCEND BRG recently highlighted the release of “Corrections,” a limited-edition series by designed to bring awareness to the systemic issues within the US prison system and uses art as a medium to emotionally connect with communities and inspire them to also take a stand.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of “Corrections” will be donated to Programs, a nonprofit in the San Francisco Bay area that provides resources for wellness and economic mobility to communities that are disproportionately impacted by systems of inequity.

Synonymous with prisons, the name “Corrections” calls for an unflinching look at a system plagued by inequity and discrimination and offers a glimmer of hope through the thought-provoking labels created by artist which highlight the humanity and resilience of incarcerated Americans.
