Wishbone Allegan County shelter in crisis - Many workers/volunteers with positive Covid - but the animals still need care - using all Covid safety guidelines- help is needed to walk dogs, do laundry (pet bedding and such) clean enclosures and provide food, water and company to the animals

My humble apologies for this late post! Food insecurity is a grave concern. Our next door friends, neighbors, and family are in need. The Allegan County Food Pantry Collaborative 2nd Annual Soup Drive is an opportunity to help families through the upcoming months.

The Soup Drive runs from October 1 – October 31, 2021. Our goal is 10,000 cans of soup. We are a little over half way to our goal of 10,000 cans with only 3 days left. Can you help?

Drop off your cans of soup to any of the following locations: Saugatuck -Douglas Area: Caldwell Banker, Lake Vista Supervalu, Community Church of Douglas.
