Day 24: North End Brewing – Pacific Blonde (Helles, 4.5%) Bright yellow with a slight hazy touch. Pleasant, floral noble hop aroma alternating back and forth with subtle maltiness that feels like lightly toasted bread. Fresh and subtle hop notes are dominant and lead you in, but what makes this beer outstanding is the understated bready, malty complexity that sits in the threshold of sweetness. Smooth and creamy, easy to drink and doesn't linger on the palate. The pronounced hop bitterness leads into resinous and grapefruit peel flavours, finishing fresh.
