Clos Salanca Private Offer

Since the 12th century, the rugged terrain of Priorat has been home to some of Spain’s most exceptional wines. Here, the monks first discovered the perfect harmony between Grenache and Carignan, and the slate soils that now define this world-renowned region.
At Clos Salanca, this ancient legacy continues. The estate’s bush-trained vines—some dating back to 1915—struggle against the harsh elements without irrigation, producing wines that embody resilience and history. Their philosophy is rooted in tradition: minimal intervention, large barrels, and no new oak.

A new chapter began when David Forer, a Toronto native, transitioned from a pharmaceutical career to pursue a Master of Wine. Partnering with Franck Massard, they acquired Clos Salanca and have since embraced regenerative agriculture—focusing on soil health and sustainability.

The result? Wines that balance elegance, depth, and pure pleasure.

Located in the heart of Maremma Toscana, Grillesino estate crafts wines that embody the region’s unique terroir. Their vineyards, situated on mineral-rich soils and blessed with a Mediterranean climate, produce exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon that captures the essence of coastal Tuscany.

The 2021 Ceccante Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the best of Maremma with its deep ruby color and pronounced aromas of blackcurrant, Mediterranean herbs, and cedar. Full-bodied with firm but ripe tannins, it delivers concentrated black fruits balanced by fresh acidity and a long, mineral-tinged finish.

After nearly 30 years of crafting world-class wines in Napa Valley, Jayson Pahlmeyer’s admiration for Burgundy led him on a quest to find the perfect site for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. In the late 1990s, he discovered Wayfarer Vineyard, a remote property nestled along the Sonoma Coast, with all the natural elements needed to produce exceptional wines.
