Carruades de Lafite

Carruades de Lafite is made according to the traditional Bordeaux method. Alcoholic fermentation is conducted in wooden, concrete and stainless steel vats. Gentle pumping-over helps to ensure a soft extraction and is carried out according to the specific characteristics of each tank. Total maceration time lasts for about 20 days.
After malolactic fermentation, wines are transfered into French oak barrels made by the Tonnelleries des Domaines in Pauillac for a period of 16 months approximately.

1996 Georges Roumier, Corton Charlemagne

Georges Roumier et Fils is a 40-acre estate in Chambolle Musigny in Burgundy’s Cote de Nuits. Founded in 1924 by Georges Roumier, it is now run by the family’s second and third generation winemakers, father Jean-Marie and son Christophe. The wines produced include the Grand Crus Le Musigny, Bonnes-Mares and Corton-Charlemagne, as well as Premier Crus in Chambolle-Musigny, which are Les Amoureuses, Les Combettes, and Les Cras. The estate also has a monopole Premier Cru in Morey-Saint-Denis, which is Clos de la Bussiere. Robert M. Parker Jr. has noted that the domaine “is undoubtedly one of the finest sources of classic, long-lived red burgundies….All aspects of the estate’s winemaking are completely traditional.”

2015 Dom Perignon

The 2015 Dom Pérignon is exceptional. It shines with brightness and balance, revealing an impressive vitality. Flavors of citrus zest, white blossoms, mint, white pepper, and slate sweep across the palate. The wine has a stunning tension and structure, complemented by lively saline notes that enhance the mid-palate and linger through the finish. Chateau Petrus, Pomerol

Petrus only produces one red Bordeaux wine, and probably owes its worldwide fame to Mrs. Labat and Jean-Pierre Moueix. Madame Labat had always thought, since 1945, that Petrus had great potential, similar to Medoc First Great Classed Growths of the left bank. She even introduced the wine to the greatest personalities of England at Elizabeth II’s wedding. Mr. Moueix, a trader who used to sell Petrus wines, managed to make it the Kennedys’ favourite wine, which greatly helped to perpetuate its grandeur and incredible reputation. Petrus makes a rich, round and velvety wine, full of blackcurrant, cherry, liquorice, violet and truffle flavours. Petrus red wine is indeed quite concentrated, with opulent and fleshy fruit flavours, but it is also distinguished by its amazing balance and length on the palate. Petrus has already got the perfect score of 100 from Parker for its legendary vintages: 2010, 2009, 2000, 1990, 1989, 1961, 1947, 1929, 1921.
