Ein riesen Dankeschön an die Taste Buddys für die großartige Gastfreundschaft die uns am Freitagabend bei einem ersten Kennenlernen durch den Abend begleitet hat.

I hate being the bearer of bad news, but this bad boy is almost sold out before we could even properly announce it. Our beloved F-f-f-f-Freestislay, limited to 34 bottles only, was for

A beautiful blend of *minimum* 20-year-old single malts from an undisclosed region which you can absolutely not guess from its name.

We are not finished yet; these malts were then blended in an Oloroso cask 🤯

Here are our notes for the old rapper bloke: F-f-f-f-Freestislay.

👃: Ash, maritime smoke, old oak

👅: Sweetness of red fruit, a hint of salt and seaweed, a midsummer fire

🏁: Long and clear, sweet and bitter notes of forest fruit, oak, and cold ash

Meet Rude Olph!

Punk is not dead, Rude Olph is the living proof.

Bottled for 2023, this namesake Single Malt Whisky is finished in an Amarone Single Cask in Germany after being produced and pre-matured in its origin country until it was 23 years of age. Contrary to the mellow style the distillery is usually known for, the Amarone cask adds funk and a long finish, notes atypical for an Amarone cask with pears and thyme honey. It is an outcast, but still secretly keeps to its blissful nature.

Nose
Tropical fruits, hint of wood, smooth and charming

Palate
Red fruit, Grapes and mango. Sweet bitterness.

Finish
Long, slightly dry

PS: No deers and/or Glencairns have been harmed during the photo shoot.

We love our own whisky ❤️. But that does not diminish our love for whisky all the other beautiful people out there make for you and us.

As most of you know, VAME is an abbreviation for the four guys that are Vame Malts. Our "M" has a definite favourite in Glengoyne whiskies. This one was a charity cask that shows just how much Glengoyne has perfected the art of giving you sherry heavy whiskies without turning into a sherry bomb that leaves nothing from the distillery.

More to come of what we love, so you get to know us and what to pour into our glass when meeting us on the road 😜.

Finally kicking off the 2024 Fair Season with THE in Nürnberg.

We've been to the Village as visitors before and it is one of our favourite fairs around so we feel happy and honoured to be on the other side this time.

We'll be bringing our whole family (yes, even a VERY SMALL number of bottles of our Roy). Good news, we managed to also secure the last 55 bottles of our sold out Rude Olph's cask for the Village. In case you haven't seen it in the wild: it's our oldest whisky in the family, from a very famous distillery (maybe there is a hint on the label 😉) and a big favourite for everyone who tried. If you're looking for a bang for your buck old single cask whisky look no further.

On top we're bringing some of our rarities again by the dram. We're talking 50s, 60s and 70s spirit of the most sought after distilleries among others.

Looking forward to meeting all of you beautiful people for a weekend of great fun and even greater whisky.

With us we have our friends from , but there will be many more of our friends bringing you amazing whisky.

Last but not least; Our beloved Mademoiselle Pack-a-Day.

Distilled at Distilled at Bunnahabhain Distillery, after having spent its first five and a half years in a first fill bourbon cask, it's been finished in a first fill sauternes quarter cask that we had built down built down from an original sauternes barrique.

The sauternes cask had some wonderful influence with spicy and explosively sweet notes, coupled with Islay's classic signatures. We unanimously agree that this is an exceptional whisky and our highlight of our first batch.

We love incorporating different kinds of styles and artists into our labels. The artwork on Mademoiselle Pack-a-Day stems from our Istanbul based artist friend . The work depicts Mademoiselle's style using refractions of crumbled aluminum foil.

Introducing: Cavity Face. Oh boy we are proud of this one.

Distilled at Aultmore Distillery, this is our very first 12 yo release. The cask retained it's 65% alcohol volume even after more than 11 years. Instead of watering our Speyside gem down, we decided to wrap the angels' gift of with an Islay red wine cask.

The result is a grown up Christmas kid 🎄. Salted butter, dried apricots and spekulatius.

We love incorporating different kinds of styles and artists into our labels. The artwork on Cavity Face stems from a Munich based artist friend. The front side depicts the classically clothed young man described in our story, while the back side shows the many twists in the life of Cavity Face.

Introducing the first ever bottle we release: Pegleg Pete!

Distilled at Bunnahabhain Distillery, after having spent its first five and a half years in a first fill bourbon cask, it's been finished in a first fill rum cask that we had built down from an original rum barrel.

The result is as punchy as a Caribbean ship captain! Mellowness and sweetness that is exceptional for its age, while retaining its smoky punch. The rum cask had some wonderful influence, with tropical and sweet notes. This one gets very peaty and has such a nice long finish!

We love incorporating different kinds of styles and artists into our labels. The artwork on Pegleg Pete is by imagined by , capturing the story in an explosive manner.
