The Yafa's Heritage House (YHH) was established in 2022. The Center tirelessly works to promote, revive, and preserve Palestinian cultural heritage, especially the arts of embroidery and traditional dressmaking, candles, food making like cookies. The YHH’s main goal is to educate the public about the meaning and significance of Palestinian cultural heritage and the need to protect this heritage from loss or misappropriation. It provides lectures, workshops, presentation, exhibitions, and resources to visitors as well as participates in international events, showcasing to the world what it offers those who come to the Center itself.
The Center will produce in the near future fair trade, handmade embroidery, crafted by women from Balata refugee camp and its surrounding camps around the city of Nablus.
