It's that time of year again 🌸

The early spring release from cult low intervention winemakers Anders Frederik Steen and Anne Bruun Blauert.

This year's pick features a mix of wines, featuring grapes grown in their own vineyards in Valgrand, alongside others sourced from their longtime collaborators the Oustrics of Domaine du Mazel in Valvignères and the Bannwarth family in Alsace. Fearless as ever, this year's wines range from the light to the more heady, from sparkling to co-fermented reds, showcasing their commitment to experimentation and creating original wines of quality that express their region in new ways.

As always, there is never enough to go around, so numbers are very limited and these will go quickly!

For us this is the ultimate in white wine. Straw coloured and ever so slightly cloudy, Sfera carries a beautiful balance of acidity and slight dryness against pome fruits and minerality. Zesty, moreish, and dare we say, thirst quenching.

Last week we paid a visit to Serbia to try some new wines and meet some new producers. We were lucky enough to spend the day with and family at their vineyard, and grabbed some lunch in the beautiful town Sremski Karlovci in the glorious Serbian sunshine 🌞🍷 Always a pleasure!
