Meet East London Brewing Co.👋

Established in 2011, they're passionate about beer and celebrating brewing as one of the many wonderfully diverse, creative and innovative traditions of East London. From collaborating with other East London businesses to their annual green-hopped beer which is brewed with hops grown in the gardens, pots and allotments of residents of Waltham Forest (available now in The Rose and Crown pub in E17 and it's tasting great!)💚

This week we'll be bringing you Two Swans🦢🦢, a deliciously hazy New England Pale Ale dry-hopped with Mosaic, Ekuanot and Motueka for a wonderfully citrus and tropical flavour. 🍋⁠

TWO SWANS - NEPA (4.6%) 🦢🦢

This deliciously moreish New England Pale ale from East London Brewing Co. is coming your way this week. Unfiltered and naturally hazy with a super silky mouthfeel. Generously dry-hopped with Mosaic, Ekuanot and Motueka for a wonderfully citrus and tropical flavour. 🍋

On tap this week is Pillars Brewery with their their small batch Festbier - a 6% German Pils brewed specially for Oktoberfest. 🥨🍻

Pillars is a specialist craft lager brewery and taproom based in the Ravenswood Industrial Estate in Walthamstow (their stunning mural is hard to miss!👀). Established in 2016, Pillars was the VERY FIRST craft lager brewery in London. They started out as a family business and remain a team of family and close friends, driven by a mutual love of lager.

To celebrate Oktoberfest this week, we're bringing you a stonking 6% German Pils - Festbier from none other than .

A malty, yet fragrant, Festbier brewed with floral Rottenburger hops. Bursting with the flavour of freshly baked bread and a well-balanced bitterness to finish. The crispness, clarity and head retention are incredible. Expect an initial malty sweetness immediately balanced by tasty German hops.

Say hello to Crate Brewery. Now in their 10th year, this wonderful brewery is based on the canal in Hackney Wick, in a gorgeous old building that was first a print factory. They produce a fantastic range of beers and this Friday we're excited to be delivering Crate Pale - their perfectly balanced and delicious all rounder.

40FT ARE BACK! 🙌

We're thrilled to welcome 40FT brewery back this week with their glorious hazy pale - Dalston sunrise 🌞

We love the story of this wonderful independent brewery. They started out in the kitchen of a Hackney houseshare where three homebrewers made beer for their house parties. The venture quickly moved into two 20ft shipping containers located in a disused Dalston car park in 2015 (hence the name...).

They now produce over 7,000 pints a week pouring in pubs and restaurants in East London as well as 40FT's award winning taproom!😲

WALTHAMSTOW BEER PROJECT 2022🍺

This weekend we took part in the Walthamstow Beer project hop picking day! Now in it's 9th year this non-profit, hop-growing and beer-making community project sees beer lovers of East London gather the hops they've grown over the past year and pick them to brew a delicious green-hopped pale ale in partnership with East London Brewing Company.

We turned up with our haul of hops and joined in the fun, whilst enjoying the great beers and lovely food put on for everyone. It's a really fantastic family friendly day out, we'd highly recommend it!

If your interested in signing up for next year keep your eyes peeled on the Walthamstow Beer Project website. Anyone can get involved, after a small sign up fee, all you need is a pot, garden or allotment to grow your hops (provided to you) and some care and patience...🌿⁠

MEET MAMMOTH 🦣

This week we're excited to feature Mammoth Beer again! We'll be delivering WAX - their latest Pale Ale inspired by their new taproom in Leytonstone. A venue where people can sit and enjoy their beers accompanied by the sweet sound of needle on vinyl. Have you been yet?

Coming your way from Mammoth Beer this week - WAX is light in colour, and boasts a big yet light and fluffy mouthfeel. Whirlpooled
with El Dorado for some lovely tropical layers, then dry hopped with Mosaic and Ekuanot for big juicy flavours and aromas. This beer has a sticky and moreish body upfront, yet a cloud-like finish that
lends itself to some serious sessionability.

Brewed by Ora Brewing in collaboration with Tottenham Foodbank, N17 Juice is a DDH New England Pale Ale brewed with extra pale, naked oats, cara gold, wheat malt and dry hopped with Simcoe, Comet, El Dorado, all fermented in New England Verdant yeasts for the juicy character. 🍈🍋🍍

Say hello to Old Street Brewery, a craft brewery and taproom making American style beers in Hackney Wick and the latest addition to our line-up. They fuse big flavors, a cowboy spirit and an uncompromising approach to bring you good vibes, and great beer! 🍻

Founded in 2018 by Adam, an American roaming the world for a place to call home. He landed in London and began brewing beer, in the bathroom of his tiny flat near Old Street. Fast forward to today and their latest brewhouse which opened in 2021 has a 12,000L capacity and has quickly earned a reputation for brewing an ever-evolving mix of expertly crafted experimental beers.

We had a fantastic two days at Bread & Jam festival this week meeting other brilliant challenger brands, pitching to some major retailers and listening to super inspiring speakers from across the industry!

The highlight for us though has got to be pitching to a room of +200 people including some of the most successful and active investors in food & drink. What an experience⁠. Well done to all the awesome brands who pitched on the day👇⁠
