Hailing from the Emilia-Romagna Region of Italy, Lambrusco is a family of red grapes that are commonly used to make sparkling red wine of the same name. It is one of the oldest wines made in Italy, dating back to the Bronze age. Lambrusco is typically made in a frizzante (lightly sparkling) style and is relatively low in alcohol. Lambrusco is a fruit forward variety with flavors of berries and some floral notes, depending on variety. 🇮🇹

Soju is a clear colorless distilled liquor of Korean origin. Until the 1960s, Soju was traditionally made by distilling alcohol from fermented greens, mainly rice. It was about 35% alcohol by volume, and up to 40 to 50% in some areas. In 1965, due to rice shortages throughout the whole country, the South Korean government banned the traditional distillation from rice. Since then, Soju has been created using highly distilled ethanol from potatoes, sweet potatoes and tapioca, by diluting anhydrous alcohol with water and adding sugar, glucose and citric acid.
