The February 2022 issue of the Straightpipe, WDCR's quarterly newsletter, has been published. In addition to the sage words from our esteemed Region Executive and other news bites , we've got a good selection of features. Gregory Jones recaps his championship season in his turbo Tercel running XS-B class in autocross. Rose Wiker describes her first time flagging at the Rolex 24 in Daytona. Andy Thomas told us about his first RallyCross National Championship, and Hayes Lewis gave us the story of his first attempt at the SCCA Runoffs, fulfilling a childhood dream of racing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

It's time to start thinking about the forthcoming season for all the WDCR programs. Schedules have been finalized, supps written, and everyone's tied for the championship lead at the moment (aside from the virtual racers).

You have an opportunity to toot your program's horn in your region's award-winning newsletter, the Straightpipe. The deadline for the next issue is Tuesday, February 1 though I can be flexible about this if I know content is coming. Ideally, I'd like to have the issue done and posted by February 15.

The February 2021 issue of WDCR's Straightpipe newsletter is now available at the link below. We've had some excellent submissions for this issue, including a great feature on two-time A Sedan National Champion Greg Eaton.
