Call it a comeback, ain't posted for years!

This is a fun one with fresh juiced watermelon and garden grown basil. Nothing new about using in season fruit but it is definitely satisfying.

1.5 oz gin25 oz sweet vermouth
2 oz watermelon5 oz lime5 oz agave syrup

Bruise the basil leaves, add all ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake, shake, shake and serve with lime wedge and basil leaves as garnish. Revel in the glory.

Blood orange season!!! Campari blood orange sour.

2 ounces gin
3/4 ounce lemon
1/4 ounce blood orange
1/2 simple syrup
1 ounce of egg whites
2 dashes orange bitter

Dry shake. Add ice and shake again. Garnish with a blood orange wheel.

Just discovered this easy drinking low alcohol beauty named after the late great jazz great Django Reinhardt. Before making ensure you put on a Django for the full experience.

3 ounces of dry vermouth
3/4 oz lemon juice
3/4 oz simple syrup
3 orange slices

Muddle 2 orange slices with all ingredients in a shaker. Add ice shake and strain into ice filled rocks glass. Garnish with an orange slice. Continue to listen to Django and sip on this summer delight for endless enjoyment.

Calling this the Yellow Rose:

2 oz of Opihr Gin
1 oz lemon juice
1 oz rose syrup
1-2 oz of soda water

Shake all ingredients with ice except soda water. Strain into ice filled Collins glass. Add soda water. Garnish with a lemon twist. This is a great summer time cocktail that combines the perfect amount of booze while still feeling like you can have your wits about you. Enjoy!

Oh my, it has been a minute but we are back! New house, new bar. Strawberry daiquiris don't have to be frozen and they don't have to be obnoxiously sweet. We flipped a switch and went Felernum on the left and a rose flower syrup on the right.

The Hot Blooded

2 oz bourbon or rye
4 oz fresh squeezed blood orange juice
1/2 T of honey
Diced up jalapeno to taste

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and stir in honey. Add ice stir again, strain and enjoy. Get those blood oranges while you can!
