We've decided to call time on Hip Flask for the time-being. Rising costs and growing family commitments have made it almost impossible to give our products and customers the attention they deserve... Plus having stacks of beer in the house while raising two young kids is never a good look. However, we're leaving the door open and will look to return once we can give the business our full attention.

From our inception at the beginning of the first lockdown to licensing Sam's spare bedroom in Gorton and receiving national press - we've had a brilliant time and met some great people along the way. Thanks to all of you for your custom and encouragement.

However! We are leaving you with a parting gift. One of our favourite Manchester breweries has always been First Chop Brewing Arm, they are one of the best Manchester craft brewers and they brewed our brilliant Hoppy Mondays IPA for us.

We've been busy hosting a couple of pop up bars for the fine people of over the past month. Selling our Hoppy Mondays IPA on draught was so exciting and the feedback was really positive. We're on the lookout to host some more so watch this space 🍻🐝

So sad to hear that Beatnikz Republic Brewing Co. has stopped trading. They made brilliant beers and were always so helpful and kind to us when we first started. Two years of Covid with spiralling transportation, utility and packaging costs proved too much. Thankfully the Beatnikz Republic NQ bar is remaining open and we'll be in there as often as possible.
