June 6th!!!! Today marks the 1 year anniversary of the opening of our store, Harbor Front Trading Co.🎉
We are beyond grateful for all of the support from loving family, special friends and our wonderful customers!❤️ It was an incredible 1st year!!
We thank Our Good Lord for each and everyone of you who have encouraged us, prayed for us, helped us and shopped with us!!! Thank you! We so look forward to this next year!!!😍

I'm so thankful for these 2 precious ladies!! They have been best friends for 50+ years! It was so enjoyable to watch their excitement grow as they made purchase after purchase! This couple just made my day!!! Shelly and Neil met me the first time almost 6 years ago. They were on a cruise that had stopped here for the day. Neil and Shelly took an excursion to St John for the day where Neil had a proposal planned for his dear Shelly. Visit 2 was on another cruise to celebrate their Honeymoon and off to St John they went on another excursion! Today they were here on another cruise, now married for 5 years!! Both of their previous visits, I had personalized gifts in memory of their engagement and honeymoon. This visit, Shelly found the perfect souvenir that she had me personalize!

These 2 gentlemen were so delighted to see handcraft from Africa in our store. George, the man on the right, is originally from there. Both men purchased an African fair trade item!! George, who enjoys being called "King George" has a laugh and personality that literally filled the store with joy! Thank you George, for making my day! 😁

I met Ashley today who was visiting St Thomas with her family. A recent elementary school college graduate who is starting her first job as a 1st grade teacher. She was so excited about our children's books. The mascot of the school where she will be teaching is the loggerhead turtle. She found the perfect book and matching loggerhead stuffed turtle for her class to enjoy. Have a great 1st year teaching, Ashley! I know your class will love you!!

I met the most amazing group of people this week. They have touched my heart in a way they will never fully know. One of the men, Kyle, lost his wife of 10 years to pancreatic cancer. 16 close friends came with him on this trip to celebrate his precious wife's life. I witnessed and experienced something so special amongst this group of close friends. They were committed to walk beside Kyle, grieving, encouraging and loving him. This trip was a time that they were now ready to celebrate Kyle's wife, Cait's precious life. I was given the privilege to personalize quite a few of our handpainted ornaments in honor of Cait. I will never forget this amazing group of friends❤️
