We have lots to be thankful for, especially in this season of Thanksgiving.

Today we are excited to announce exciting cigar news that we are also thankful for.

After three wonderful years, Velázquez Cigar Company has closed and will now reopen as a NEW cigar shop!

La Tradicion Cubana Ci**rs, has brought excellent handmade ci**rs to Miami for the last 30 years and will now expand their expertise to Lakeland!

Luis M Sanchez has a love and knowledge of ci**rs that runs very deep. His family has been in the industry since 1928, and has passed down their expert to***co craftsmanship to him.

A traditional cigar connoisseur
with his own line of ci**rs (which VCC carried during our time open) Luis brings so much for the Lakeland cigar lovers!

We are proud of this news, and know you will love La Tradicion Cubana as much as we do. From our family to theirs, and their family to you!

We are shifting from an extended Summer Break to Temporarily Closed. While on break, we have been working relentlessly to make some important changes at VCC. These changes include selling the shop to a new owner. We had multiple prospects, and planned to reopen without delay but that did not materialize.

So now we’re back to accepting new offers to buy the shop! As a family run business, this was not an easy decision to make. We did it together, and know this is what is best for our family moving forward.

We are looking for someone to purchase VCC and love it just as much as we did! This is a rare opportunity to take over an established downtown Lakeland business with the best clients around!
