Peaty Poet - Deric from A Taste for Whiskey created such appealing imagery when describing peaty scotches in their last review.

The nose brought Deric visions of knarly, full-bearded vikings at the front of a longship who fully enjoy the repeated hits to the face of mossy, ice cold sea spray arising from the crashing of the ocean's stormy waves.

And his comments on the palate and finish transported us to more of a hot and humid climate, deep in the southern swamps of Louisiana, where burnt logs marinate in the algea and reptile infested bayou.... 😆

Call it an acquired taste, but some of is LOVE IT!! 😍
