I have exciting news! 🎉🎉🎉 🎉 If you’ve missed Sally’s you will be thrilled to know that Stacey has opened Salty Island Shop in Marsh Harbour, and she has all the fabrics, bags, clothing and MUCH, MUCH, MORE!
Conveniently located on Stratton Drive, across from the former Standard Hardware, in a brand new building- it’s just a 5 minute walk from the Harbour, and its on the way to the ferry dock from the airport- so easy to stop by. You won’t be disappointed- I’m so proud and impressed. 🥹🥹🥹🥰🥰🥰

With great sadness I post this picture. Sally worked tirelessly on the legacy of Sally’s Seaside Boutique. She opened it in 1973 with a couple bolts of Bahama Hand Prints, added Androsia soon after and then continued to share the colors and fabrics of the Bahamas for nearly 50 years. She made it a place of joy to visitors and second-homeowners, who told me very often in my 15 or so years there - taking home a piece of Sally’s was very special. She welcomed me into the business and patiently taught me how to sew. She loved me as a daughter and when she retired, she was happy the shop was still open for her to look at from her house across the street. I thank God for her, her confidence and effort she put in me, and her love for her family and island community. Thank YOU for supporting her over the decades, your kind words, and for sharing memories of visits. The family cherishes all the memories as we learn to get used to life without her. God bless you all. ❤️ 🇧🇸
