Consecon Business Association Business Association in Consecon for the purpose of sharing information specifically for Consecon Bu WE have provided C.A.R.A. Inc. Also Haunting in the hamlet.

Consecon Business Association (CBA) is an informal association of business owners. It was formed in the spring of 2016, spearheaded by business owner, Janet Battaglio of Janet B Gallery & Studios, Consecon. A Business Association was formed in response to business owners wanting to have a say and work together to meet specific business needs and promote business in Consecon. (Consecon Ratepayers A

ssociation) with a resource to direct businesses to for specific business needs. There is a page on the Consecon.ca website directing businesses to the newly formed Consecon Business Association contact, Janet Battaglio 613-965-5698 and our Consecon Business Assocation page. As well, the CBA provides a place for the businesses as a group to brand Consecon. In the Downtown Revitalization Project for Prince Edward County, Consecon was designated as one of the 5 Downtowns in Prince Edward County. Being Designated as one of the 5 Downtown in Prince Edward County when we saw the 2015/16 Guide for Picton, Bloomfield & Wellington we asked to be included. In April 2016 our wishes were granted and were offered 2 pages in the Guide, we requested 4 and within 48 hours had pulled together our Founding Member Businesses, Cascades Pub & Grill, Goddess Fab Jewelery Design Studios, the Hamlet Grocery, LCBO & Beer Store, Janet B Gallery & Studios, The Merchant Mill & Redtail Vineyard. We have a growing number of businesses in the downtown core in the last 4 years, 4 artisan shops and 2 restaurants and that alone is revitalizing Consecon. As well there is a growing Arts Scene, with the Banner Painting Festival, Yard Art Project, Christmas Pole Decorating Event. And a Christmas Parade and Santa Visit at the Maisonic hall. There is a great community spirit here. All the residents and businesses come together to promote, support and participate. The CBA's Initial Mission is to pool resources to promote business in Consecon. our First joint marketing campaign began with the 2016/17 Welcome Guide Picton/Bloomfield/Wellington/Cosnecon, where we have branded ourselves at "The County's Hidden Gem" In the Western Gateway to Prince Edward County. Photos for Consecon in the 2016/17 Guide are part of a photographic series "Postcards of Consecon" and were provided by artist Janet Battaglio.
