On February 25, 2021 Kirk's Korner was sold to a new owner. It is with bitter sweetness I parted ways with the business; however, my wife has encouraged me to retire now for over 5 years and now I've done exactly that! It was a great ride and I know I'll miss the customers that made Kirk's Korner the success it has been the past 17 years. I truly hope everyone will give the new owners their support, trust and love as they did for me. I'll miss each and everyone!

We will be taking a VACATION!!! Kirk's Korner will be closed to business April 20 through April 24, 2015. We will be open normal hours Sunday, April 19th from 12 noon to 6 pm and will re-open for business Saturday, April 25th 7 am to 12 midnight. Plan ahead and shop early for that 5 day period! Thank you!

Gasoline prices continue in a downward slide. Professionals in the field are saying it is due to the China placing influence on OPEC to lower pricing to keep the Keystone Pipeline from completion [they are worried that it will reduce USA oil needs from foreign control substantially] and China wanting the pipeline ran to the West Coast of Canada instead of USA. A second reason is the nations of the world placing pressure on Russia for it overt aggressive behavior in Southern Europe. This is having severe effects on the Russian economy. Don't know how long it will continue downward; however, if the Keystone Pipeline is built you'll probably see lower gas prices for years to come.

Wholesale gas prices are still absolutely nuts! Doesn't appear they will slide downwards anytime soon. EU gets about 40% of oil from Russia and it will be interesting to see what sanctions occur, if any.

ALERT!!! Due to the Ukraine situation wholesale gas just increased over 10 Cents per gallon this AM. Has not reached the gas station pumps yet, but will sooner or later.
