Todays the day the music died. After 5 long seasons, each one unique in its struggles and successes, it is time to close the doors for good. At 23 years old I set out to open a premium cigar store at the beach and after accomplishing that and fighting through a weird 2020 season, I thought we were home free, until decided to nearly double to***co taxes. I’ve had to make the decision to close for good because there is no way to actually succeed and profit in this fu***ng state where they only care about taxing small businesses. The only risk ci**rs have on anyone, is the fact that it gives the smoker a chance to relax and escape reality for the duration of their cigar. F**k off if you think anyone is dying from enjoying a cigar. Thanks for ruining a good thing Maine. I would like to thank everyone who supported me over the past 5 years and hope that someday I’ll be back in this business. But until then, we can’t cry because it is over, we are smiling because it happened.

Unfortunately, after 5 years in business we have had to come to the hard truth that it is time to close our doors for good at the end of this season. It is not an easy decision to make, and I have struggled to accept this reality, but the fact is that there are too many factors hindering us from striving as a business, most of which surround the oppressive taxes the State of Maine have forced on us small businesses. All margin for profit and success have gone out the window and it's time to move on. I've never wanted to admit defeat in anything before in my life but sometimes it is just a reality that you need to move on. I love the cigar industry and do not want to leave it. Hopefully we will be able to reopen eventually over the border and find a more suitable situation where we can be open year round and succeed in ways we have always strived for. But until then, EVERYTHING IS ON SALE so til Colombus Day come by and buy everything we have please!
