Another beloved Peco’s tradition. When my brother and I were kids a lot of our free time was spent at the shop with our Mom, and grand parents. This was especially true during the Christmas season. The shop was busy and it was “all hands on deck “ time. We would sneak out to the sales floor whenever we could but when it was busy we would usually be sent off to the upstairs where we had a nice play area complete with TV and VCR. One Christmas week we came across a very old VHS 📼 copy of the holiday classic It’s a Wonderful Life. We watched it togeather then and almost every year since. Being a local business in a small town it was very easy to relate to Geroge Bailey and the Building and Loan. Our version just ends with Merry Christmas you wonderful old Peco’s Liquor Store.
