Our snow people Rita & Frank have arrived from the north pole. They have been a staple of the season here at Peco’s for as long as I can remember. While you may have grown a custom to seeing them displayed at the shop you probably don’t know the yearly drama these caused each holiday season.

My Pop-Pop Frank loved the snowmen and especially liked to display them on the roof for all to see. It became a favorite tradition of mine to get to go up on the roof every Black Friday to help my uncle put them up. My Mom-Mom Rita would without fail launch a fruitless effort to veto the annual display. For reasons still unknown she was not a fan. They argued about it every year and that was part of the tradition. One year in particular “someone” tried to throw out the beloved snow people but thankfully Pop-Pop fished them out of the dumpster before the trash truck came. They don’t go out on the roof anymore but they do anchor our annual holiday window display. Putting them out kicks off the holiday season for me, happily remembering them arguing about the snowmen, being a part of this tradition reminds me of all the reasons I chose to be a part of my family’s business.

Roxy will be rocking it in the shop at our Peco's Holiday Open House on 11/24 from 5:00 pm doing free custom bottle engravings. But if you can’t make it have no fear you can pre order your bottles and pick up after the event.

To order simply send us a message. Space is limited, first come first serve. The engraving is FREE with bottle purchase.

Halloween is over 🎃 👻. We are switching into holiday mode. 🦃 🎄 🎅. Check out our holiday open house on 11/24. Where you can try this amazing holiday cocktail and much more. ✨ Cheers to the holidays! 🎄 Try this festive twist on the classic Old Fashioned:

Holiday Old Fashioned Recipe:

2 oz Elijah Craig Barrel Proof
1/2 oz local honey
1/4 oz Saint Elizabeth All Spice Dram
2 dashes aromatic bitters

Instructions:

In a mixing glass, combine the whiskey, honey, all spice dram, and bitters.
Add ice and stir until well chilled.
Strain into a rocks glass with a large ice cube.
Garnish with an orange twist and a cinnamon stick.
Enjoy the warmth of the season in every sip! 🥃✨
