Hello Elbe's customers!

Today, May 15th, marks our 73rd anniversary of business, and we wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for your continuous support throughout the years!

If you've been in the store lately, hopefully you've seen that Jeff is making his way back into the store!

Finally, if you were unaware, Elbe's donated our side wall (facing University Blvd W) to the Wheaton Arts Parade where a special mural is being painted to celebrate Wheaton. Come on by and check out the progress!

Hello Elbe’s customers,

We would like to inform you that we will be adjusting our hours starting tomorrow, March 20th.

Co-owner Jeff Bobrow successfully underwent surgery last week and is recovering well, but to best serve you and the rest of the community, we will need to make some adjustments to our hours.

Our new hours will be:

Monday: 12 pm – 8pm
Tuesday: 10 am – 8 pm
Wednesday: 10 am – 8 pm
Thursday: 10 am – 8 pm
Friday: 9 am – 9 pm
Saturday: 9 am – 9 pm
Sunday: 10 am – 6 pm

DC Firefighter Jim Mazzara performs God Bless America in front of Elbe's Beer and Wine

Today Elbe's Beer and Wine was honored to have Jim Mazzara stop by and play a spectacular rendition of God Bless America on his bagpipes out front of our store. Jim, a current DC firefighter and former Kensington, MD volunteer firefighter with Andy Bobrow, has been playing his bagpipes in front of hospitals, churches, monuments and other community areas to show his appreciation for the first-responders and individuals in the community who are on the front lines in essential services. We are honored that Jim decided to play in front of our store, but the true honor and recognition go out to all of the first responders, doctors, and nurses who help keep us safe.
