Our thoughts and prayers go out for the family and employees.

News travels fast, and all of our heartbroken customers, followers, and staff have been posting on social media in honor of Stephen R Roop , the man that everyone loves so dearly.

It is a difficult thing for us to address the passing of our beloved leader, friend, and caretaker. The Father of Roopers. He will be missed so dearly by all of his staff.

Steve has shown so much compassion to us over the years. There are no words that can adequately describe the impact that he has had on this world or that can express the true goodness of his character. He was a man who cherished people, and he cared deeply about the community, his family, customers, and his staff at Roopers. He lived a blessed life and practiced gratitude every day. Anyone who knew him was a better person for it.

This is not the end for Roopers. The memory of Steve will be lived out every day because he has taught us how to pull together as a family. He has taught us how to laugh in the good times and how to persevere through the tough ones. Steve will live on in the hearts of all who loved him, and his legacy will be cherished and carried on here at Roopers. Please join us in honoring his incredible life and the light he created in this world.

To the greatest boss and best person we know: we miss you, we honor you, we love you for free and always…
