Headed towards the holidays so its time to kick off the Barrel Full of Money campaign! We love helping out and it is a great cause that everyone in the valley should support! It's $20 and 100% of profits will be donated to BMAC! Make sure you stop by and tell all your friends. The official lineup will be announced on Friday but wanted to get word out now! Also mark your calendar for the main Barrel Full of Money event on Friday December 6th at The Motor Co.! Our event does not require a ticket. Show up any time between 5pm and 8:30pm!

Halloween falls on Thursday this year so we pushed our tasting to Friday, which coincides with Diá de Mu***os. Diá de Mu***os is about remembering people who have passed away. The wine world has lost some real giants the last few years and we wanted to highlight some of their achievements and experience some of their wine. Stop by and raise your glass to these huge influencers of wine. It will be a busy weekend around the valley. We hope everyone has a safe and happy Fall Release Weekend.

We all need those bottles for every day drinking. Delicious, crushable and worth the revisit. Price tends to find itself part of the conversation in these tastings and we love how much all of these wines punch above their weight. Alas, if only we could afford to drink First Growth Bordeaux every night... Stop in and see if you can find a new favorite go to for that quick midweek shake-n-bake pork chop or dare I even say... sloppy joes? Hope to see you Thursday! It's been a hot minute since we put the spotlight on White Burgundy. Chardonnay is by far the most popular white grape in the world. There is a bit of debate if it has more acreage than Airén at this point but we are going to give it to them. We went out and checked this weekend. White Burgundy can include Aligote so of course we invited it to the party! White Burgundy is one of our favorites and it should be yours too! Come see if you can find a new favorite on Thursday! We are saying we start at 5pm this week. Some of you are eager to show up so we might as well say we are ready at 5! See you soon.

Nebbiolo is one of our favorite Italian grapes and we are stoked to share this lineup with you this week. There are some classic producers in this lineup and some newer favorites of ours. We are exploring a lot of styles of bubbles in this one. You can wander down the rabbit hole if you'd like or just taste some delicious options for your next garden party! Cab Sauv is at the top of many wine drinkers list. We can debate for days the reason for that, but at the end of the day, people love it. And we give the people what they want! Buon Ferragosto! Ferragosto was started during Roman times. In modern times it usually involves people taking the day off and going to beach. We can't take the shop to the beach so we will just have to make due! We will have wine, we will have pizza from our friends at Bacetto's Detroit Style and we will have some spirits to taste as well! Our friends at Winebow will be in the house talking about the wine and lets celebrate right before harvest starts!

Bubbles Galore! We are due for an affordable bubbles tasting and we wanted to bring back a couple forgotten gems and some showcase some of our new favorites. Not overly complicated, just pop in and have some tasty bubbles.. and bring a friend! There was a typo in the menu a few weeks ago, but it is on Thursday at the usual Bat Time and Same Bat Channel!

It's no secret we go crazy for Arianna Ochipinti's wine. Her wines and olive oil are delicious. We always wish we had more to go around. Swing by the shop as these quantities are very limited. We got some love from the distributor and have more bottles than we have in the past, but that doesn't mean they will be here very long. The Loire Valley is truly a gem for Cabernet Franc, showcasing its versatility across the region’s diverse terroirs.

From the cooler, stony soils of Chinon to the rich, clay-laden lands of Bourgueil, each sub-region imparts its own unique character to the Cabernet Franc grapes.
