March 8th. Good morning community and our friends, as some of you may know, I was getting ready for work Monday morning when my leg went out on me and I fell. I was hurt with my back but it's starting to get better. I hope to be getting back to cooking again very soon but in the meantime we need your support at our little store. We want this to be our forever home but can not do it without all of friends and neighbors and supporters to remember we are here and open. Randy is keeping the store open while I recover and has gotten pretty good making the sausage gravy and biscuits. He is a wonderful man and I'm so very proud of him. Anyway y'all come see us. Good day my lovely community. First I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the condolences and prayers. I would love to be with my family today however I'm a poor working slob and my beloved sister would kick my rear end for not going to work for this and it keeps my mind busy. Hello and good morning my community, as some of you may know I have been sick this week. It's not what you may think, no coughing, no fever, no sore throat. None of that, I have however been having some very severe stress and very high heart rate that I couldn't get under control. I've been to the doctor and they have changed some of my meds and will be going back in the very near future for further testing. I am doing some better so I'm back at the store and cooking. Today I have made some chili and jalapeno cheddar cornbread and went a little further and made some pulled pork for bbq sandwiches. Folks I'm not begging but we need your business so please don't forget we are here. We are trying very hard to keep this going because we have already completely fallen in love with our people and our new community. Come on down to Rocky Point Wagoner Oklahoma to Mama's Place.
