I’ve shared this one before but wanted to show again one of my side projects that I’ve been working on with my compadre Andy Dicus. I threw some parts at it this week and took it to a show just to get it out of the shop.
The list is long to get this thing done but looking forward to getting it knocked out and on the road in the spring/summer.
1948 Ford F1 Pickup with a 5” Chop, 400 Chevy engine, Muncie 4-Speed, ‘72 Camaro front subframe grafted to a custom built rear frame section, Ford Explorer rear axle, 4-Wheel disc brakes.
Thanks for looking, Cheers

Happy New Year Y’All!!
With the coming of a new year comes a new project(again)!
My ‘66 Nova got pulled out of storage this summer after being put away for more than 10 years!! Hey, I’ve been busy!!
The car has a long way to go to get back to where it used to be when my brother Brian Derheim and I redid this car back in the mid-90’s but made some baby steps towards getting there over the last couple weeks. 10 year old gas didn’t treat my gas tank or sending unit very well so new ones are on the way. Some other parts are through with sandblast and are painted or waiting for powdercoat. Next week the Ford 9” Rearend will get disassembled and gone through along with some trunk cleanup. LOTS to do, Thanks for looking, Cheers

P.S. I attempted homemade tortillas today!

Always fun to bring an engine back to life after a long time of extended storage. This 350 SBC is going to be used in my friends Scout project

Sometimes all you can do is balance the good with the bad,, I dropped off an engine block at the machine shop that didn’t last longer than 20 minutes on my engine run stand before it chunked the bearings and scarred the crank! Oh well, lessons learned, next time build it bigger, badder, better.
The good news is that I got another engine block back from the machine shop that I’m looking forward to putting together this weekend. I also learned how to make Lefse!

Hello y’all, it’s been a while since I created a post on here so I figured I’m ready to share some pictures of a side project that I’ve been working on. It’s a 1948 Ford F1 truck project that we’re doing something kind of special to. I found this truck cab sitting in a junkyard in northern Minnesota and thought it fit the vision of a truck that I’ve wanted to build for a long time. It’s finally coming together and I can’t wait to spend some more time on it and get it on the street soon, thanks for looking, CHEERS

Had a chance to work on something a little bit different today, my friend stopped by with his GTO and needed a new custom one-piece air intake tube, so this is what he got.
This car is running Twin Turbos with Nitrous and definitely can haul the mail, glad I was able to help.
I’ll catch up with the owner out at the track and give you an update on what this thing can do

What an amazing adventure it has been working on this great project, a 1929 Ford Model A Sedan.
I’ve always had a build like this on my Bucket List and I can’t be more happy with the way it’s coming together. This project never would have been possible without a lot of hard work and sacrifice by my friends Jake Buckley and Jerry Schelske of Third Dimension. Follow us on Facebook as this project continues to come together
