This extraordinary marriage of bourbons takes on an extended finish in prized Mizunara Oak casks. Old growth trees are harvested, air-seasoned, & crafted into casks that receive a medium toast. Highly porous & low in tannins, this special Japanese oak imparts an intense & distinctive flavor on the bourbon.
A deep aroma of molasses, root beer, & to***co lays a foundation for notes of incense, smoldering wood, & toasted almond to shine through.
We proof Black Opal with our own limestone water from The Legendary Rosendale Mines of NY. This hard-yet-sweet water delivers a lavish mouthfeel & long finish.
