We're tipping our hats to our very own Alan Roesch, a true fuel-hauling legend. For over 25 years, Alan has been the friendly face delivering to our customers in the Lancaster, Potosi, and Glen Haven areas. From his days at Timmerman Oil to his time with New Horizons, Alan's always had a golden rule: treat customers the way you'd want to be treated. Now, as he gears up for a well-earned retirement, we're pretty sure his customers will miss him as much as we will. Alan's last day is September 20th, 2024, so let's all give him a big congrats and wish him the best for his next adventure!

Dear Valued Propane and Fuel Oil Customers, as we approach the colder months, we kindly ask you to take a moment to inspect the trees on your property before the snow arrives. Overgrown branches can potentially damage the mirrors and mufflers on our delivery trucks. For safe deliveries, please ensure that the road lane is at least 12 feet wide and 14 feet high, considering that a standard road lane measures 16 feet in width. Thank you for your cooperation! Our young friend Miles has a soft spot for parades, just like us! Jeff Lenth, Miles' father, had the pleasure of steering our brand new Refined Fuel Truck at the Benton Labor Day Parade last weekend—co-pilot duties were expertly handled by Propane Driver Jim Jentz. If you didn't catch them, fear not! This gleaming truck will make its rounds at the Platteville Dairy Days parade this Saturday, starting 9:30 AM. We're looking forward to seeing you there! Have you ever wondered how we managed before technology? Today, our system niftily nudges our drivers when it's time to make a delivery to our scheduled propane/fuel oil customers. When a customer requests fuel, voila, the order pops up on our driver's tablet. For this , let's hop in our time machine to see how drivers navigated deliveries in the good ol' days. Each customer had a card like the one below, and drivers would diligently track each delivery. Drivers were the fuel maestros, taking care of scheduled deliveries and using degree days to calculate when to refill. This humble card tells a rich story. The smudge at the top? That's where the driver touched the card to track each delivery. The directions at the top are definitely a relic of the pre-GPS era. Stumbling upon these slices of history makes us truly appreciate the tech-savvy world we live in today.

To say we are excited about the completion of the Darlington Store is an understatment! We're over the moon about the fresh look and what it means for your cooperative and the Darlington folks. There's just something about trucks that gets us all revved up! Our latest addition? A sleek Freightliner Refined Fuel truck crafted by Westmor. This beauty, rocking a 5000-gallon tank, is now the longest rig of our fleet. And guess what? We just got our hands on it this month! We're all super excited to see who'll be the lucky one driving this shiny new beauty. With a bit of luck, you'll see it cruising around your area! We are so grateful that we can improve theservice to our customers by adding to our fleet. Without you as our customer this wouldn't be possible. Thank you for your continued patronage!

BREAKING NEWS! We are excited to share that effective immediately the Brand New Diesel Canopy at the Darlington Convenience store is completed! This diesel island includes On-Road Diesel and DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid). We can't wait for you to check it out!

Our LP Service Team has been busy bees, conducting safety inspections on our propane tanks. If they swing by and you're not home, don't worry! They'll leave a note on your door so you can call us and schedule a time that suits you. We'd love it if you're home when we visit, but we understand that life can be a whirlwind. Summer is a busy time for our Service Department and Propane Drivers. Propane tank safety inspections are vital for preventing accidents and ensuring efficient operation. We are committed to your safety. Regular tank inspections are on a 5-year schedule. We check for leaks and inspect valves and regulators for wear, damage or malfunction. By checking the pressure from the tank to the regulators on the house will ensure that there is a consistent flow of propane to the appliances inside your home. Last week some of our LP Service Team members took some time to help with the clean up efforts at the Apple Grove Lutheran Church/Cemetary in Argyle after a tornado leveled the church and cost significant damage to the cemetary on June 23rd. Starting today Monday, July 8th we will be starting construction on our Brand-New Diesel Island and Canopy at the Darlington Convenience Store. We will only have Diesel available under our larger canopy for pickups and passenger vehicles. To our Large Vehicle and Semi drivers, please come see us by the end of July to try out our New Diesel Island which will also include DEF. Thank you for your patience as we make this update.
