Let’s do this together!

If there is anything, I have been extremely aware of it’s the idea that many people just do not have a way of knowing what’s going on in our community. We lack a newspaper that has community events or happenings that most of us enjoyed for years.

We are lucky to have WRMJ Radio and social media. The problem with those two means of communication is that not everyone gets social media and some do not listen to WRMJ. I love WRMJ! ❤️📡.

So here is where I am going with this!

Please know we all want the same result. We may disagree on a path to get there but we do in fact want excellence in education. The entire community depends on the success of raising confident competent citizens.

I understand that not everyone has extra money to spend, but if you do here is a highly worthwhile program.

Please take a peek and if you have the means consider this as a worthwhile program.

It’s Friday!

Buffet opens at 11 o,clock

Lunch Specials today are as follows.

BBQ Sandwich with soup and salad bar.

Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and Gravy, green beans and roll.

Chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots and roll.

Pie: cherry Crumb, Salted caramel apple or coconut.

Last but not least just stop by and ask about the million dollar question…..oh wait …it’s the 25 million dollar question. It’s 🔥🔥🔥

Yes! It’s throw back Thursday!

We will be serving Madhatter tacos or our hand breaded tenderloin with salad bar and soup. Choice of soups are creamy potato, clam chowder of chili.

I am officially committed to being a circulator of the petition for the school.

What does that mean to you?

It means that as a community we can begin to have a voice in what happens in our school district. If you would like a voice——if you would like to vote for or against a 25 million dollar bond, I am now an active circulator!

As it sits right now a bond hearing date is set. If you would like to see this question on the April ballot you would want to sign the petition. If you want the 25 million debt, do not sign. This is referred to as “new money”. There is already a significant bond burden.

Good morning! We are open for breakfast at 7 AM. We are going to do things a little bit differently this morning. Dean tells me it is deer season.

 so, breakfast can be ordered off the menu anytime. We will, however, be setting up the buffet as a breakfast buffet at 9 o’clock. 

With that said, our lunch special will be:

 choice of sloppy Joe or steam burger, and that will include choice of soups and salad bar. $9.49. Or

Meatloaf, potatoes and Gravy, choice of green beans or corn.

Or hot beef Sandy.

 the buffet will not be open for lunch today. It will not open until 4 o’clock for the evening service.

 last, but not least. If you know you know. And if you ask me questions about this, by the time you ask I will not have my phone and you’ll just be mad at me. In short it is a Swedish dish. Dean’s dad told me that he could not marry me unless I knew how to make this. Those Swedes love this stuff. It is a love it or leave it food.

If anyone is interested in running for the school board, here is the instructions

So far my journey has been fascinating, challenging and rewarding.  I would challenge young people to get involved with your school districts and become a leader.

You will face difficult situations but it is so worth it.

If you are in a position to bring positivity to the table, please do it!

Our district benefits having multiple candidates to choose from.

Give that a thought. Bring it!
