Now that I’m finished with law school (yay!), it’s so nice to get back to my leather work again. This is not finished, obviously, but I wanted to show you the interior construction of a trifold wallet. I was worried I wouldn’t remember in what order I should sew the pieces together, but I got it right the first time. More to come… 😊

Good morning, everyone! It’s been a while since I last posted, but I’m still around and still in business. (In my spare time, I eat and sleep, lol!) In addition to law school and making purses and normal life stuff, I have also managed to finish the website… I think.

Here’s where I need a little help: I need some fresh eyes at this point, so if any of you wouldn’t mind looking it over for mistakes, I would be deeply appreciative. I’m looking for functionality problems, incorrect descriptions, random errors, obstacles to buying, or just general helpful suggestions. If you can find six of these things and email them to me, I’ll send you a $10 e-gift card as a thank you gift.

We're moving! Some of you may already be aware of the big changes happening in my world, and some of you are not, but I wanted to let you know personally what's going on with myself, West Texas Leather, and the store in Ruidosa. First of all, I am honored and super-excited to tell you that I have been accepted to study law at SMU in Dallas beginning this fall. This is a tremendous opportunity, and I am greatly looking forward to it. Because law school is going to consume so much of my time and attention for the next few years, I have decided to close the storefront and sell the property in Ruidosa, I will, however, continue making things (how could I stop?), and your favorite products will continue to be available through the website.

I have been abundantly blessed that so many of you, my customers and Facebook friends, have turned into real-life friends over the years. I cherish these connections and am deeply grateful for every one of you.

I also invite you to stay in touch. Email or messenger would be the easiest way to do this. I quick hello from a familiar friend can brighten the whole day, and I would LOVE to hear from you anytime!

Above all, I want to say THANK YOU!!! It has been an amazing journey so far. I am so happy that you all have been a part of this past adventure, and I look forward to staying connected in the new adventures to come!
