Want your business to be the top-listed Convenience Store?
The Intersection
I came here in 2006 from Itmann,WV. Dating Bruce Slaubaugh. I started working for Jeff Harsh (Jeffro’s). He decided after 1 year he didn't want to lease the store anymore from Jim Stemple. I approached him and told him I wanted a shot at it. I talked to Jim and he said yes and in April of 2007, I was the proud owner of the store in which I named The Intersection. I married Bruce Slaubaugh in May of 2007, and we ran the store together for a few years . After we divorced I ran it by myself with some great employees over the years. Andrea, Julia Tina, Sue, Amber. It has seen good and bad times but I managed to pay it off in June 2017. I'm now fixing it up. Its a small little home town store. Thanks to some great community support this little country girl hasn't done so bad for herself. I remarried a wonderful gentleman in October of 2016, Mr. Curt Calhoun whom I totally adore and we now run the store together. Once again life isn't always perfect, but we make the best of what we have and thank god for it all. We greet our customers with a hardy hello when they walk thru the door and as they leave we always say please come back, and I think that's important in life. I was raised to give respect and in return you will get respect. Stand up or what is right even if I'm standing alone. My mother taught me that. Thanks Beulah Marie Ford Goode for raising me right I love u mom. Thank you Eglon , and Thomas, and Davis, WV Community customers for you support over the years.
Thanks,
Kathy M Calhoun
