You couldn’t ask for a more crisp cocktail– this Apple Cider Old Fashioned captures all the flavors of fall!🍎🥃
For apple cider reduction syrup:
On the stovetop, heat up one quart of apple cider, adding two cinnamon sticks and two tablespoons of cloves. Bring to a boil, then turn heat the medium, and continue cooking until the liquid reduces by half– about 30 minutes. The resulting liquid will have a stronger, sweeter taste perfect for cocktails. Let cool and store in the fridge for up to two weeks.
For apple cider old fashioned:
In a mixing glass full of ice, stir together 2 oz whiskey, 2 oz apple cider reduction and three dashes of bitters. Prepare a lowball glass with your preferred amount of ice, strain the drink into the glass, garnish with an apple slice and a cinnamon stick and enjoy!
Life is sweet—especially on Halloween! 🎃🍭 It's not too late to shop and fill up your candy bucket!

Turning humble spuds into a crispy delight!🥔 🤩 Clean baby potatoes and coat generously with olive oil, salt and pepper. Roast at 350 for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, chop about a quarter cup each of green onions, chives, dill and cilantro. Mix 1.5 cups of Greek yogurt with the juice of one lemon. Add chopped herbs, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 teaspoon salt, cracked pepper and stir until combined. Remove potatoes from oven, and use the bottom of a pint glass to smash each one- then return the tray to the oven until crispy, about 5-10 minutes. Serve hot & don’t forget to dip!
A simple way to brighten up your summertime sips, fruity ice cubes cut down on waste and add color and flavor to any beverage!🍋🍓🍊
The steps couldn’t be easier: simply rinse your fruit (herbs are a fun addition, too!) and chop into bite size pieces. Fill ice cube trays with an assortment of fruit pieces, top with water, and pop into the freezer until ready to use!
Pickled red onions are the secret ingredient you didn’t know you needed!🤩
Using a mandoline or knife, carefully slice your red onions as thin as possible. To make your pickling liquid, mix together equal parts water and vinegar. For a quart sized jar, we used two cups of each, plus a tablespoon of sugar and a teaspoon of salt. Bring your pickling liquid to a boil, then turn off heat. Stuff your sliced onions in a jar, and top with pickling liquid until full. Store in the fridge for up to two weeks.
