From all of us at Longfellow Wines, we want to thank you for the outpouring of support since the earthquake that hit Napa Sunday morning.

Thankfully, no one was hurt and we didn’t sustain any direct damage. Unfortunately, that isn’t true across the region at large. The tasting room we’ve been operating out of for over 10 years, Vintners Collective, did sustain some damage and will be closed in the immediate future. Certainly, it will take some time to sort through all the pieces of this devastating event. But rest assured, the collective support of the community will help everyone recover and get back to normal. And, our wishes and thoughts go out to all of our partners, customers, and industry colleagues that have been affected.

In the meantime, do know that our business is as vibrant as it ever has been. We are processing orders, preparing for this coming harvest, and about to bottle our first ever (and much anticipated) Russian River Chardonnay. It’s amazing the amount of support everyone has offered over the last many days – it’s inspiring - as well as proof to what drives our passion and enjoyment in this close-knit business community.

Thanks again.

Rough day in Napa. No one hurt. Longfellow tasting room has some damage (mostly facade but full report pending) . Winery and warehouses OK - but don't think we're tasting wine this week. Better report in next few days.

Pinot Days Home

Just a quick note to say that we will be featuring our recently released 2009 Pinot Noir and the upcoming Pinot Days Grand Festival at Fort Mason on June 16th.

This is a great event and a chance to try a lot of smaller, under the radar Pinot Noirs. The 2009 vintage has proved to be stellar, so there should be some great wines to check out inclusing Longfellow.

For more infomation on Pinot Days and tickets, visit www.pinotdays.com

Hope to see you there!

Pinot Days is the largest gathering of Pinot Noir producers in the world. It has to be; pinot noir is exceptionally stylistically diverse, and our aim is to give every pinot lover a place to "go deep" within the style you love. And, if you're open to venturing outside of your comfort zone, you ca...

Vintner's Collective Tasting Room , Napa Valley

Just brought in the last of our Pinot Noir this morning. Barely beat the rain which has come really early this year. So far, it has been a really weird growing season and this is very late for our Pinot vineyard - Griffin's Lair. In general, the yields are way down, but quality looks to be really good.

Harvest is a great time to be in Napa. If you happen to make it up - please make sure to contact us to set up a visit and you can always taste Longfellow wines at Vintner's Collective in beatiful and bustling downtown Napa.

Vintner's Collective is the first of it's kind in Napa Valley, a multi-winery tasting room that is home to ten of the most experienced and talented winemakers in the Valley.
