Our Rare Ci**rs from Arturo Fuente are starting to trickle in! Delivered today is the Eye of the Bull and Eye of the Shark.

•Eye of the Bull

The Eye of the Bull is a short and stout cigar, measuring 3 1/2 x 55. The cigar is wrapped in a Cameroon wrapper and filled with premium Dominican to***co, just like all ci**rs from the Don Carlos line. The result is a smoke that’s full of flavor and character.

What makes the Eye of the Bull unique is the round circle of dark to***co on the head of each cigar, resembling the bull’s eye. This detail not only adds to the overall aesthetic appeal of the cigar but also gives it a touch of personality and distinction.

•Eye of the Shark

The original Arturo Fuente Don Carlos debuted in 1976 and rose to become a key blend in the Fuente family’s portfolio. The cigar is named for Fuente family patriarch Carlos Fuente Sr. In 2017, a proprietary edition called Don Carlos Eye of the Shark scored 97 points and another ‘ #1 Cigar of the Year’ title for the Fuentes. The partially box-pressed, partially rounded Belicoso is very unique and mirrors the contours of a great white shark, hence its name.

Although exact details of the blend remain undisclosed, Eye of the Shark is drawn from a toothy Cameroon wrapper leaf and a premium aged marriage of Dominican binder and filler to***cos. Copious notes of almonds, chestnuts, leather, and cedar concentrate with sublime aroma and balance.

La Promesa, 'The Promise,' refers to the promise made by company patriarch Jose 'Pepin' Garcia to his family before leaving his native Cuba. He promised to prove himself, to make something of himself in the cigar world outside of Cuba. He promised to honor his family and his to***co heritage. According to My Father, the company as it stands today with its farms in Nicaragua and factories in both Nicaragua and Miami is the fulfillment of that promise. My Father-La Promesa is covered in a dark, Ecuadoran Habano rosado oscuro wrapper, with binder and filler to***cos from the Garcia family farms in Nicaragua. Packaged in 20-count boxes, the line comes in five sizes Robusto Grande, at 5 1/2 X 54 ring gauge; Toro, 6 X 52; Lancero, 7 1/2 X 38; Petite, 4 1/2 X 50; and Corona Gorda, 5 1/2 X 48.
