It is Fall and it is time for Bob Feuling Brown Ale 2024 Release!!
Will be available at all Westside Liquor locations on October 11th.
You can get a first sip at the Tapping Event at Lupulin Brewery in Big Lake on Thursday, October 10th at 4:00 pm.
It will then be available On Tap at the following locations...
Boulder Tap House, H.R. Pesty's, Shattuck's Hub Supper, Lucky's Saloon, Pioneer Place, Lupulin Brewery Taproom.
A portion of proceeds will be donated to March of Dimes in Honor of Bob Feuling.

Our Story

Bob and Linda Feuling were looking for shorter work days, not a liquor store empire. But their shift from bar management to off-sale liquor business grew to nine Westside Liquor stores over the years and now currently there are eight Westside Liquor stores. (Albertville, Baxter, Little Falls, Rice, Sartell, St. Cloud Sauk Centre and Waite Park)

The secret to Westside’s success? Bob Feuling will tell you it’s all about relationships – with customers and employees, competitive pricing and wide selection don’t hurt either. Westside is known for everything from cheap beer to the $450 bottle of champagne.

Starting small It all started when the Feulings bought West Side Bar in Little Falls in 1979. The purchase included $200 in off-sale inventory. Feuling noticed that customers didn’t like coming into the bar for off-sale purchases, so he opened a separate liquor store. Soon he moved to a 6,500 square foot store in Little Falls. Then he learned space was available in a former grocery store west of Crossroads Center. Westside Liquor opened there in 1991. The Waite Park store gradually grew from 8,000 square feet of leased space to 20,000 square feet in a building that the Feulings own. It’s was and still is the biggest revenue producer of all their stores. Westside showed up on the East Side of St. Cloud in July 1998 when it bought out Club Liquor next to Cub Foods. The Sauk Centre store that opened in October 1998 draws customers from a 30-mile radius as well as Twin Cities residents who pull off the freeway for prices better than they can find at home.

In 2001 the business entered the Willmar market with a store big enough to rival the one in Waite Park. Next came the Albertville store in July of 2004, and then the Sartell store was bought in October of 2004.
