We're not a wine club. You order the wine you want, when you want it. Little by little, "Wine Friends" spread by word of mouth and our community grew.

Wine Friends is a curator of exceptional, great-value wines from around the world, offering frequent selections delivered to your door in Marin and much of the Bay Area (see our map). After more than 30 years in the international wine business - sourcing for top collectors, developing world-class vineyards, and building wine-focused technology start ups - Wine Friends was born from the simple joy

I get helping my friends drink wine they love. It started with a handful of friends who regularly gathered around my table to share stories, eat, laugh, and explore the great wines I'd discovered on my journeys. Our wines are curated from small, unique wineries all over the world. We seek out authentic wines created by people who have a deep connection with the terroir and the land they farm. Featuring a mix of regions, varietals and styles, our wine list has something for every palate. We do our best to keep favorites in stock, while regularly sharing exciting new finds we think you'll love. How it works:

- You can order online, or via text, phone or email
- Mix and match any wines you'd like, there's no minimum
- Shipping and handling is $20 for up to 12 bottles, and $20 for each additional case (12)
- Once we confirm availability, we'll send you your invoice and a PayPal request
- Need help in the kitchen or cellar? Pop me a text, and I'll always try to lend a hand

Last night's tasting at Osteria Divino was an absolute blast. Thank you to everyone who came - we loved the joy and enthusiasm you brought! It could not have been more perfect at Divino - the space is so hip and cozy, the nibbles were fabulous, and it was a treat to stick around for a delicious dinner after.

When we need inspiration for dinner, NY Times Cooking has become our go-to to get our tastebuds excited and find the motivation to pull out the pots and pans and try something new. This week we made a mediterranean one-pan chicken with roast cherry tomatoes, feta and fresh chard, all from the Farmer's Market. It was a winner with the whole family!

The Winter Fair is one of our favorite times of the year in Muir Beach. It reminds me of the Christmas Bazaar in my hometown in England when I was a boy -- I could barely sleep in the days leading up to it, it was just such a fun and festive event that brought out the whole village and signaled that the holidays were finally here. After a year-off last year, it was wonderful to gather again with the community last weekend, share all the preserves and chutney's we've been making throughout the year from our ranch in Big Sur, and break into spontaneous song with our neighbors. If you didn't make it to the fair, don't worry, you can still get some of our homemade goodies, or orders some Wine Friends holiday hampers, which have some of our preserves, wines, and other goodies, and make wonderful gifts for your friends and loved ones. Simon's Hamburger Recipe

Meaty, juicy burgers are a staple of this holiday weekend, and we love making ours from scratch for extra flavor. In addition to starting with a blend of ground beef that has the perfect meat-to-fat ratio (70% lean to 30% fat is ideal), we suggest spicing your patties up with scallions, garlic, and mustard. Topping them with caramelized onions, prosciutto, and blue cheese adds incredible flavor, making this recipe a BBQ favorite you can turn to throughout the summer.
