Tomorrow (2/25) we will be operating on modified hours so that we may attend the funeral services for a member of our Checkers' family. Our store will be open until 12:30 PM and open later in the day, as soon as possible. Our grill will be open from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM only. We will keep you posted if there are any updates. Update: Todd and I really appreciate all of the positive words and memories. It is very heartwarming, and it is nice to know that his legacy lives on.

Today, in 2012, is the day that our father, Steve Barlow, passed away. Steve, and our mother Wanda, started Checkers Grill & Grocery in 1990. We miss him very much, but we would love to hear any fond memories/stories that you remember and would be willing to share.
