Happy Halloween🦇 Enjoy a Haunted Hot Toddy this evening, recipe below:

BULLEIT BOURBON HAUNTED TODDY🍯
1.3oz Bulleit Bourbon
4-5 Cloves
1 Lemon Twist
1 tsp Demerara or Fine Brown Sugar
Little Hot Water

Instructions:
1. To begin, fill up a glass or mug with fresh boiling water and let stand.
2. While mug is warming up, cut a lemon twist and stud it with cloves.
3. Next, throw out the water in the mug and add fresh boiling water.
4. Add 1 teaspoon of Demerara or fine brown sugar and stir to dissolve.
5. Then add lemon juice and Bulleit Bourbon and stir.
6. Garnish with close studded lemon twist.

The Vineyard: Diora is the culmination of a thirty-year vineyard-to-bottle journey at the Santa Lucia Highlands and family-owned San Bernabe estate in Monterey. Diora winemaker James Ewart journeyed from Australia’s wine country to San Bernabe Vineyard in Monterey and never left.

The winemaker: James grew up making wine at his father’s side and is one of very few winemakers to complete a graduate degree in viticulture, following an undergraduate degree in geology and chemistry. This gives James a deeper understanding of soils. For Ewart, sustainable practices are paramount to quality winemaking. His philosophy is to enrich, not change, what the land expresses when planted in the right place.

Get romantic tonight with this easy recipe🌹

1 ½ parts Hornitos Plata Tequila
¾ part simple syrup
3 lemon wedges
2 - 3 basil leaves
2 strawberries cut into quarters
strawberries and basil leaves for garnish

Combine basil leaves, lemon wedges, strawberries and simple syrup into one half of mixing tin/glass. Muddle to extract juices and oils. Add Hornitos and ice and shake until well chilled. Double strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a strawberry and basil leaf.

2 parts Maker’s Mark® Bourbon
3/4 part honey syrup*

*Combine 2 parts honey and 1 part hot water to create syrup.
