The Espinosa Crema. Connecticut wrapper goodness. Starts with a nice bit of pepper, followed with a sweet cream flavor. Mix in some cedar at about 1/2" in and you've got a real winner.

Medium body and strength that mellows to a sweet cream oak flavor in the last third.

It's the perfect "any time" smoke. A perfect combination with a beer or a cup off coffee. We have 2 sizes available. It's one of the most popular ci**rs on Cigar Dojo and others....for good reason!

Ya just gotta try one...... You're a daisy if you do!

The Espinosa Las 6 Provincias CMW. Another of the phenomenal cigar in our humidors. To quote the cigar reviewer Katman......"This baby is so full of exotic nuances that instead of dissecting them, I’m just letting them flow over me. Who cares what they are. This is a great cigar for newbies. You sophisticates will be in seventh heaven."

It's true...so many unique and well blended flavors pop out of this very friendly smoke that it's hard to put your finger on all of them. Katman mentions these...."Chocolate malt, café au lait, creaminess, summer fruit, cinnamon, black pepper, licorice, black cherries, and Scotch. None fighting each other for domination. The balance is now the headliner."

Stop by and pick some up! You won't regret trying this fine limited edition cigar from Espinosa Ci**rs. You're a daisy if you do!

Our restock on these incredible ci**rs will arrive soon! Our friends at Plasencia Ci**rs are working extra hard to keep em coming. It's most definitely deserving to make your "definitely gotta try" list.

Born in Flagstaff, Arizona, Andy Devine (left, with George Bancroft) was raised in Kingman, where his parents owned the famed Beale Hotel. Because he had a reputation as a good teamster who could handle a six-horse team, John Ford put him behind the reins in the 1939 Western, Stagecoach. Devine was a beloved character actor who appeared in more than 400 films.

Great story about Texas Jack and a couple of his cohorts. A couple country boys help a city slicker.

Have a great day!

151 years ago this week, Texas Jack and Buffalo Bill's train from Omaha, Nebraska, arrived in Chicago, where they met their old friend and new partner Ned Buntline. A brief notice in the Chicago Tribune shows that despite the fact that these men were well known on the plains, they were not yet household names.

"Among the arrivals in town yesterday were Col. E. Z. Judson ("Ned Runtline"); T. Cody, ("Buffalo Bill"); and J. R. Omerohunder, ("Texas Jack"). Colonel Judson will give a free Temperance lecture, on Sunday night, at Nixon's Amphitheatre. All are invited."

When the three arrived to meet theater owner Jim Nixon at his Amphitheatre, where they were supposed to star in a play in four days, Texas Jack and Buffalo Bill were shocked to learn that Ned hadn't even started writing the thing yet. Already unsure of this whole acting thing, the two nervously waited, paced, and drank in their hotel room while Buntline wrote the entire play in about four hours. Neither Bill nor Jack had ever acted in anything, and they set about learning their lines with only three days until showtime.

As if this schedule wasn't demanding enough, the presence of two famous scouts from the western frontier ensured that interested parties sought them out at the Barnes House hotel while they were trying to practice their parts. One of these interested parties was Constable Slavin, a Chicago police officer who had been tasked with capturing two bears that had escaped their cages and were running loose through Lincoln Park. Though Slavin had initially declined to serve a writ on the bears as he didn't carry life insurance, after conferring with Buffalo Bill and Texas Jack (who had more than a little experience with bears), the trio headed down to Lincoln Park, where they captured the animals, taking time out of their busy schedules with just a few days left before their big premiere.

The Spicer Trial continues on November 28th, 1881.

Here is some of the transcript from the trial. A snapshot of the day.....

NOVEMBER 28, 1881
(After a Thanksgiving recess, the OK Corral hearing continues with testimony from Albert Billike of the Cosmopolitan Hotel.)

On this twenty-eighth day of November, 1881, on the hearing of the above entitled cause, on the examination of Wyatt Earp and J. H. Holliday; Albert Billickie, a witness of lawful age, being produced and sworn, deposes and says as follows:
Albert Billickie, Cosmopolitan Hotel, 409 Allen Street, Tombstone, Arizona, hotel keeper.
In response to questions:
[I] knew Tom McLaury by sight, and saw him on October 26th last, "walking down the south side of Allen Street and enter Everhardy's butcher shop, and very shortly come out again, walk down the street a few steps further, cross Allen Street obliquely to the corner of Fourth Street. This was probably about 2 o'clock."
(Q) State if you observed what change if any occurred between the time of his going into the butcher shop and the time of his coming out, with respect to his possession of any arms.
(A) I saw no arms on him, neither when he went into the butcher shop nor when he came out.
(Q) What was his appearance when he went in, and what was his appearance when he came out; with respect to the possession of concealed arms?
(A) When he went into the butcher shop his right-hand pants pocket was flat and appeared as if nothing was in it. When he came out, his pants pocket protruded, as if there was a revolver therein.

CROSS-EXAMINATION
(Q) You say in your examination in chief, that you only knew Tom McLaury by sight and had no personal acquaintance with him. How did it happen that you watched him so closely the different places he went and the exact position of his right-hand pants pocket when he went into the butcher shop and the exact form of a revolver in the same right-hand pocket when he came out?
(A) Every good citizen in this city was watching all those cowboys very closely on the day the affray occurred, and as he was walking down the street my attention was called to this McLaury by a friend and so it happened that I watched him very closely.
(Q) Do you know every good citizen in Tombstone, or did you on that day?
(A) I know not all of them, but a great many.
(Q) Do you know what the opinions of all good citizens of Tombstone were on that day by conversation or conversations with them about watching Thomas McLaury in this city, and if so, tell us who they were. [Question crossed, without comment.]
(Q) About how long did he stay in the butcher shop, and was he in your sight while in there?
(A) He was in the butcher shop but a few moments and was out of my sight from the time he entered until he again appeared. He then walked a few feet down Allen Street and crossed to the corner of Fourth and Allen and walked down Fourth Street. I did not see him alive anymore that day. Everhardy's butcher shop is directly opposite the Cosmopolitan Hotel, and I was standing on the sidewalk in front of the hotel when I saw what I have related.
