Tomorrow 12/16/23 will be the ending of an era for 36 years as a small business in Thurmont. Reno and I started this venture 2/11/87 and with the help of many helping by working in the store and family members support with helping in the everyday success of the business. This was a small family owned business by Reno’s, wife, daughters, parents, grandchildren and close friends to make us the success we were. He would be very proud how his whole family stood by him and made the right decisions concerning closing Hoffmans Market.

This will be the last day our doors will be open for business and we will be preparing for the upcoming auction.It is possible a special person just may show up. To keep everyone in the know. The plan is Hoffman’s Market last day of operation will be December 12,2023. The auction to sell the remaining equipment will be December 16 on site.

On December 12th we will be hosting a customer appreciation for the 36 years being in business at this location. Please stop in for some snacks, drinks and share your stories

The contract on the sale of Hoffman's Market was cancelled so we are are open and some what restocked for our customers. We will continue to be open until we get someone else interested or have a public sale in the month to be determined. Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding
