Update: Mia has been located and is safe!

Mia was seen on U.S. Highway 175 West walking westbound toward Eustace near Life Fellowship Church on 11/14/2024 at approximately 5:45 p.m. alone. If you saw her please call the Sheriff's Office at 903-675-5128.

We are asking for your help locating Mia James who is 11 years old approximately 5’5” tall and 98 pounds. She left her residence on Henderson County Road 3925 just north of Athens and is believed to have been picked up by an unknown subject. Last seen wearing black shorts and a teal hoodie with “Venom” on the hoodie. If you have any information in reference to her location please call the Sheriff’s Office immediately at 9036755128.

The suspect in Monday morning’s homicide in southeast Austin is believed to be the same suspect involved in an Amber Alert issued Monday afternoon, police sources told KXAN.

2 years ago today was the last time that Kazem was seen.

Kazem was last seen on 10/10/2022 at a friend\'s condo in Dallas, TX. The friend stated that Kazem left his condo between the hours of 9:00PM and 10:00PM. Kazeem has not been seen or heard from since. Last seen wearing black Betty Boop shirt, black shorts with purple logo and black Yeezy tennis shoes.

Mother of 4 is missing, last seen after a domestic violence attack by her husband around 11pm on October 6th. Extensive searches have been conducted, with her husband being arrested on unknown charges. The family has an extensive real estate portfolio from San Antonio and well into the Texas Hill Country. The last area she was seen at was the 500 block of E Olmos Dr in Olmos Park. She was wearing a black knee-high length dress, she may be barefoot or wearing high heels.

WHO KILLED KATARA?
Taylor, TX 2004 Unsolved Homicide

Katara Johnson (21) was fatally shot in her trailer home on N Dolan Street in Taylor, Texas on the night of August 25th, 2004 after working a late shift at the Taco Bell. Her red Mitsubishi Lancer was stolen and later located at the Thorndale Community Pool in Milam County.

***NEWS RELEASE***

The Waco Police Department is currently looking for the suspect involved in a homicide that occurred this afternoon.

Waco PD Officers were called to the 900 Block of S. 12th Street at 12:31 p.m. on May 13, 2024, on an 18-year-old male who was shot. When officers arrived, they located the male victim and began life-saving measures until AMR arrived and transported him to a local hospital where he died. The victim has been identified as Anthony Powe and next of kin has been notified.

The Waco Police Department is currently looking for the suspect involved in this homicide investigation. If you have any information, please call the Waco Police Department at 254-750-7500. You can also submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 254-753-HELP(4357). If your Crime Stoppers tip leads to an arrest, you could be rewarded up to $2,000.

This is an ongoing investigation and the sixth homicide investigation of 2024.
